Inspired by antique Chinese Art Deco designs from centuries ago, no longer produced and rare to find, this rug was hand-knotted and hand-carved by skilled artisans from the Shandong province about 40 years ago. Created in limited production and using a special antique finish, the high-quality wool used gives the appearance of silk and depending on the angle from which it is viewed, gets darker or lighter.
