The interior and exterior of the container has a soft, smooth shape, which contrasts with the cold hard metal. No. 30 achieves this using an intensive, hands-on process. They plate and hand-polish the exterior twice, while hand-finishing the inner surface four times at a low temperature with stove enamel paint.
